Cebu’s Largest Convention Venue

IC3 at 23 Minore Park is the largest of them all and it has quite a story to tell. People call its construction a miracle. Indeed a handiwork of the Lord, from the moment of its inception, through the challenges of a twin calamity in  2013, to its completion just on time for the 51st International Eucharistic Congress (IEC).

More to that tale of miracle :  Story behind IEC

Today, Cebu is relying on IC3 to hold the largest indoor gatherings and international conventions. With a seating capacity of over 10,000, the fully-airconditioned facility is geared ready to host these massive convergence and congregation of people. The plenary can be divided into smaller venues by movable partitions and serve as break-out rooms that function as intimate gathering spaces. A holding room is also available for variety of purposes like rest area for performers or celebrities. Ingress and Egress is smooth through a delivery ramp from the basement where its capacious parking  can accommodate more than 250 vehicles.

Location, location, location. An organizer’s dream, you may call it, as it is exactly the case. A mere walking distance from Cebu Business Park and right smack in Juan Luna Avenue between the I.T Park and SM City Cebu.

IC3 is located within 23 Minore Park, a master-planned development along with VISMIN’s first Landers Superstore. But the corner lot, the most prime and supposed to be the most expensive property is reserved for the best purpose, a chapel and a park.

Just when we thought we’ve seen enough of Cebu, it then surprises us with a new offering, and IC3 together with 23 Minore Park is one of those surprises. A humble contribution of Duros Group to the beauty of the Queen city of the South.

Metro Cebu Bypass Expressway to start next year

DPWH Sec. Mark Villar said the 50 billion-peso infrastructure will span the distance from Danao city to Naga Naga city to provide solution to the ever growing traffic menace of Metro Cebu.

End to end, travel time will be reduced from the present average of 180 minutes to just 85 minutes.

The 4-lane expressway will be mostly elevated but some portions will be underground, in a subway, to avoid the surface traffic and minimize obstruction to surrounding structures.
