Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Junard Ahong Chan has signed the joint-venture agreement for the Lapu-Lapu City Expressway project together with its proponents from Premium Megastructures Inc., Ulticon Builders., and MTD Philippines.
The P24 billion project will connect the CCLEX to Mactan-Cebu International Airport, passing through barangays Babag, Basak and Ibo.
The JV agreement was signed during 61st Charter Day celebration of Lapu-Lapu City on June 17, 2022.
Construction of the project is expected to start in 2023.
